This landmark property in the heart of Gloucester’s historic docks underwent a complete transformation by the Outbrushed team. As a multi-occupancy residential block with significant heritage value, the project demanded a careful balance of craftsmanship, planning, and respect for its original character.

Restoration and Redecoration
Comprehensive restoration and redecoration throughout the property:
Meticulous restoration and painting of 247 exterior windows
Detailed cast iron restoration to preserve and protect historical features
Full redecoration of all communal interior areas — including stairwells, walls, ceilings, and trim
Full scaffolding solution managed in-house to ensure safe, efficient access across the site
Replacement and painting of fascia boards

Logistics, Planning and Safety
With over 50 privately owned flats and hundreds of pedestrians passing daily through the dockside area, this project required exceptional organisation.
