Interior Restoration and Redecoration Works

Project Overview
Interior Restoration and Decoration
At Leonard Stanley Village Hall, the project involved the careful restoration and repainting of an interior defined by its impressive scale and traditional character. The space features exceptionally high ceilings with exposed beams, requiring specialist access equipment throughout. To work safely and effectively at height, full tower scaffolding was erected, allowing precise preparation and finishing across the upper walls and structural timbers.
The work focused on brightening and refining the hall’s interior while respecting its original architectural features. The featured wall panels were finished in a soft duck egg blue, introducing a calm, heritage-inspired tone that complements the natural wood of the beams. This colour choice helps lift the vast interior, softening the scale of the space while highlighting the rhythm and detail of the panelled design.
Overall, the project balances practical restoration with subtle decorative enhancement, leaving the village hall feeling refreshed, lighter, and more welcoming while retaining its traditional character and sense of place.

Tarrant offered a very professional service when we asked him if he could come back and decorate a wall of new cupboards, which had been built in the village hall, subsequent to him having decorated the hall itself. He was reliable and listened to all that we asked of him.
